I would like to express my family’s feelings on how grateful we are that we found Sherwwood Lodge for our 89 year old father. He lost his wife in the beginning of June, 2011. He could not stay where he was, so when we found Sherwood, we felt we were blessed that there are people who are so caring and helpful. It was hard for us to take our father away from everything he has known for 25 years, but he loves it at Sherwood. We knew we made the right decision when dad said, “A couple of months ago, I wished I had died with my wife. But now, I am so happy. I want to stay here forever.” Sherwood is beautiful and so are the staff members. He has made new friends and actually has a new lease on life. Whoever decides to move their family members to Sherwood Lodge, can rest assured they are in a wonderful new home with a caring staff who does everything they can to keep their residents safe and happy!
